A child cannot learn on an empty stomach or with uncorrected vision. As part of our integrated Swasthya & Poshan (Health & Nutrition) outreach, Skyla Global Foundation conducted 68 multi-specialty rural health camps over the last six months, serving more than 15,000 children, mothers, and senior citizens.
Key Interventions Delivered on the Ground
- Pediatric & Anemia Screening: Hemoglobin testing, deworming, iron-folic acid supplementation, and growth monitoring for school-age children.
- Vision Screening & Free Spectacles: Over 1,100 students and elders received free prescription eyeglasses after on-spot optometry checks.
- Maternal & Adolescent Hygiene: Awareness sessions alongside distribution of biodegradable sanitary kits and protein-rich nutritional supplements.
Medical professionals and healthcare institutions interested in partnering on upcoming winter health camps can register via our Volunteer & Medical Corps portal.
